šŸ¬Cut and Wrap Caramels


Delicious recipe number three using the same base caramel. In the candy industry, this is called ā€œcut and wrapā€ because after you cook and cool it, you literally cut and wrap it. Super creative šŸ˜†. Itā€™s soft, smooth, and nobody will believe you made it at home. Itā€™s that good.



šŸ¬INGREDIENTSšŸ¬

ā€¢Water: 60 grams

ā€¢Corn Syrup: 600 grams

ā€¢Sugar: 400 grams

ā€¢Heavy Cream: 155 grams

ā€¢Sweetened Condensed Milk: 265 grams

ā€¢Butter: 200 grams

ā€¢Salt: 6 grams

ā€¢Baking Soda: 2 grams

ā€¢Vanilla Bean Paste: 2 grams


šŸ¬INSTRUCTIONSšŸ¬

1.Combine all ingredients except vanilla in a large pot.

2.Stirring slowly but constantly during cooking, cook over medium heat until butter has melted and mixture starts to boil.

3.Turn heat to medium high and cook until caramel reaches 240F.

4.Turn off heat, stir in vanilla.

5. Pour on greased, flat surface that has raised edges.

6.When warm to touch, place in parchment lined storage container. Let rest 12-24 hours.Cut and wrap.
