My husband doesn’t like this photo. He said it has too much going on. Well husband...so do I, and picture perfect IG food photos are not at the top of my list. They are however on my list, but not at the very top. So if you’ve been wanting to make caramel but have too much going on, and it’s not at the top of your list, try this out. It’s literally putting a can of sweetened condensed milk in the slow cooker and leaving it alone for the day. Now if I could be left alone for a whole day I might actually make some progress on the food photography 😂.
🍬INGREDIENTS🍬
•Sweetened Condensed Milk (not the pull tab cans)
🍬INSTRUCTIONS🍬
1.Peel labels off of cans
2.Fill slow cooker with hot tap water
3.Submerge cans in slow cooker, standing upright, making sure water comes over top of cans.
4.Put lid on slow cooker. Turn to high heat setting. Don’t touch for 8-10 hours!
5.Remove cans from slow cooker using tongs. DO NOT OPEN CANS WHILE HOT.
6.Let cool.Open cans. Stir caramel. If not using right away, transfer into jars or air tight containers, do not leave it in the can.
